Durga Puja is here, So I decided to celebrate it in my own unique way through art. Art is a form of dedication and I dedicate it to Ma Durga . It is also a form of prayer to God using a palette instead of the standard plate .. brush in place of incense sticks .. and oil colours instead of sindoor or kumkum. I feel more connected to the divine in this way! This painting is a sincere prayer offered to goddess Durga the  all powerful protector /Mother goddess/ divine feminine. I started to paint from Maha Saptami on 27th September adding powerful colours like crimson, burnt sienna and peaceful white ...putting or piecing it all together! The

I just started painting a portrait of my pet Momo. I have not done oil painting since a year. I am just a hobbyist. I just paint for pleasure. I had no training at all.
